I have just had another success!!! I stripped some really old sheets which I was going to throw out. Fill a 4 litre drink jar (with spout) with filtered water.20 drops of essential oil of choice – I chose Lemon oil.I use a slightly adapted recipe as follows: It’s quite exciting and unbelievable – each wash I am still surprised at how well it is washing!!! I’ve also added some Thieves Fruit & Veggie soak to the mix, because it has enzymes in it that help to lift stains. Then I do a normal wash without adding any more laundry liquid and it comes out fresh and bright!!! ![]() Actually I use my washing machine and leave everything soaking in there for about 4 hours. Prod any corners into the water with a wooden spoon, long tongs, etc. Add water, then the stripping mixture, then clothes. This recipe works a treat! I have tried whites only (cotton or bamboo blend, sheets, cotton shirts or singlets). Here are my results…Guess what? Hubby is very happy with the results! Then everything just got washed in plain water after, and dried as normal.
